About this weather site
A Swedish weather forecast built to be quick to read. It blends every nearby SMHI station and shows the result as simply as possible — no ads, no cookie banner, no account.
Averaged, not the nearest station
A single measuring point can sit in a valley or out by the coast, and then it says little about how it is where you are. This site instead averages every SMHI station within an area around the location, weighted by distance, so a single odd reading cannot dominate.
The forecast in plain words
Beyond numbers and hourly charts, every day is written out in plain English — whether it clears up, when the rain arrives and what the weekend looks like. The text is generated from the same forecast data as the charts, so it never contradicts what you see.
Data sources
Observations and warnings come from SMHI's open data (CC BY 4.0). Forecast models are fetched through Open-Meteo (CC BY 4.0), which runs SMHI's and ECMWF's models among others. Sunrise and sunset are computed locally from the latitude and longitude of the place.
No ads, no tracking
There are no advertisements and no third-party ad-tracking scripts. Favourites and recently viewed towns are stored only in your own browser. The site can be added to your home screen and then behaves like an app.
